Born Marlon Ainsworth,ý in Portmore Jamaica, Bertus developed his lyrical and vocal skillz while hanging around studios and Sound systems in Jamaica. He has written for various reggae headliners, and is currently one of the most prolific vocalist in Jamaica. He is able to sing or deejay with equal ability. Bertus represents the futureýfor reggae artist. "No Food" is his first single on the "Rough-cut Sounds" Label.
